Ibis Mojo HD 5
Enduro World Series tested and team-approved, the HD5 lives for ragged descents combined with real-world climbs requiring efficiency, positioning and poise. Which it delivers in spades. It’s the ultimate 27.5” brawler, living to ride as hard up as down with 153mm of dw-link controlled travel and a 170mm fork. 76 degrees of climbing we’d like you to meet 64.2 degrees of descending.
Since 2005, Ibis has partnered with suspension guru Dave Weagle on the dw-link suspension platform. It provides an unparalleled combination of climbing efficiency and downhill performance, that has been proven repeatedly at the highest levels of racing.
Ibis custom tuned front and rear suspension feature extra light high speed compression and rebound damping to deliver unparalleled traction. This allows the wheels to flutter through terrain like a trophy truck storming through a set of whoops.
Lightweight Premium Carbon, for Everyone
Whether you order an XTR or NX kit, you’ll get the same premium carbon fiber frame. All our bikes are built from the highest-grade materials and optimized for the best strength, weight, stiffness, and ride performance.
Long Dropper Post
What’s better than a dropper post? A longer one. Ibis frames are designed to accommodate the longest dropper posts possible. Riders over 5’8 (or 173cm) can easily run a 185mm dropper post, while folks between 5’ and 5’8 (152cm — 172cm) can use a post 125mm or longer depending on inseam length.
Reduced-offset forks give the front wheel greater stability at speed and an additional sense of steadiness at slow speeds too. Since the HD5 is designed to excel in technical, demanding terrain, Ibis went with a reduced, 37mm-offset fork that gives that extra bit of confidence and control in the most challenging situations.
2.6″ Tire Clearance
Ibis pioneered the wide rim revolution a few years ago and inspired a new crop of wider 2.4” — 2.6” tires. When paired together, this combo can be run at ultra-low pressures that produce elbow-dragging cornering traction without sacrificing speed.
Internal Cable Tunnels
Internal cable routing used to be a pain but our internal tubes make routing easy. Just pop the housing through and it comes out the other end, no need for swear words or a pickset. It’s clean and easy. As it should be.
It’s all about the little details. To keep your bike looking and performing at its best, Ibis fortified the upper pivot with a steel guard and added a plastic fender about the lower link. The HD5 also ships with a polycarbonate downtube protector and molded rubber swing arm protectors.
