Recently, Sport Director, Erin Cofiell of Local FOX44 News spent the afternoon ski biking with Killington Ski Bikes at Killington Resort. After a short lesson on the bunny hill with Alpine Bike Works Manager, Andrew Berlow, she was riding the lift and racing Andrew down the hill.
Erin quickly found, whether you have experience skiing or biking or no experience at all, anyone can ride a ski bike. She actually found walking in the foot-skis harder than riding the ski bike itself! Ski biking gives you the thrill of skiing and riding without hours of lessons. Ski biking is fun, and safe. With two skis on the bike and two skis on your feet (like training wheels, as Erin pointed out) you’ve got four points of contact with the ground that will keep you upright and on the bike at all times.
Darin’ Erin had a great time ski biking with Killington Ski Bikes. We think you will too. Come check it out at the Snowshed Lifts at Killington Resort. Ski bikes are available for rental on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays all season long and on Holidays and Peak Days.
